Eggs - I use large Grade A eggs for this recipe.
Bacon -I love using traditional bacon, but you can use turkey bacon too if you like.Be sure to use crisp bacon for best results. Crumble bacon into small pieces.
Cheese - Medium Cheddar cheese is my favorite, but you can use Sharp Cheddar, Monterey Jack or a mixture of both to change it up.

It not only makes a great breakfast or brunch idea, but you can also serve it for dinner. The best part is that it can be made ahead which makes it a great make-ahead breakfast recipe.
I like to use a frozen pie crust because they taste just as good as homemade, but it saves you so much time.
How to Make Bacon Cheese Quiche
The full recipe instructions for this copycat recipe are in the recipe card, below but here is a step by step overview.
The First thing is to set your oven temperature. Heat oven to 350° f.
Use a fork to poke holes in the bottom of the crust and if the pie shell is uncooked, bake it for 10 minutes. This will avoid a soggy bottom crust.
Sprinkle bacon and cheese over the bottom of the crust.
You can also add ham or spinach to the batter.
Beat eggs in a medium bowl and add to quiche.
Place the pie pan on a baking sheet and back as directed. In no time at all, you will have a wonderful savory breakfast quiche.
